If there is any way of stopping this video from being released, please do so. It misrepresents our church's pure truths and gives our young people a distorted picture of the church and its ministries.

The simplicity of the gospel will reach hearts that are open to the Holy spirit.

I believe that it is not according to God's will to make this video, and I am communicating my concerns to others in leadership myself also, and praying for the leaders of our church.

I'm glad to have a part in this petition. All that evil needs to proliferate is for good men to do nothing. My prayer is that Christ will take charge of His flock at this time when men prove to be "ringleaders in apostasy" 5 Testimonies p.212.

Seventh-day Adventist and steam punk do not even belong in the same sentence together. If I didn't know better, and had just seen the trailer, I would have guessed this was a vampire movie (like Twilight) or a modern Angel movie or some other kind of violent, super-hero action file that we as Seventh-day Adventists are warned not to watch in theaters or on TV. Why are we bending to the appetites of the sinners in the world to reach them??? Since when do we, as Seventh-day Adventists have a "if you can't beat em, join em" attitude??? This is so NOT the way to draw people to Christ. We don't know exactly what happened in the beginning, so why dramatize it? Why is it so important? If you want to dramatize something traumatic, dramatize the end of times. Now that will be gory and violent!

Please stop the production and putting forth of this film.
What fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness?

I do not believe that we should try, nor could portray the TRUTH of this wonderful and inspired book of the Great Controversy in a movie.
The only movies we could feel free to watch are nature movies, and maybe truthful documentaries of church history.
Let's follow the counsel God gave us in His mercy for every situation, and we will be safe.
I am embarrassed that our SDA Church has any connection with this movie.

How sad this even is an issue.

This film is sci-fi and has nothing to do with Mrs. White's book, GC. I am absolutely disgusted and embarrassed that the SDA church would advocate something like this and waste money that should be used for mission and evangelism. God must be extremely saddened. I know I am.

I'm into media. A photographer, media assistant, and amateur film maker. I know the power of media, and appreciate it's use to forward the Gospel. But I am very disturbed at this use of one of our most powerful, sacred, end time tools. This kind of stuff is meant for Hollywood, not the church. We can make compelling, godly media, that won't compromise principle.

We need to use only the Biblical methods that Jesus gave to His followers, The world has far too much of a drawing to us and we need to depend on the Holy Spirits direction.

Seems like the majority of leaders no longer believe in the SP which the Lord send to guide His rement church. The message is crystal clear where God stand on this kind of drama from the world. Let the Scriptures and examples of a converted membership speak for the truth of the last day message to the world.

We need to stop this insidious infiltration into our church; this is full of Satan's mark and it must be stopped. God be praised to raising up a people who are willing to plant their feet and refuse to be budged by the changing tides of human emotion and desires.

I would sign this petition a thousand times or more if allowed. When will we take the counsel of the Lord to heart and not get ourselves involved in these human foibles. God's Word is clear and sound on this matter both in scripture and through the "Testimonies" lovingly given the church in the person of God's Messenger, Ellen G. White...every bit as valid today as the pen of the Apostle Paul. I heartily endorse this petition and join the plea for our world headquarters to immediately withdraw their support for this project and further to actively work for its dissolution. Forget the money spent, though wasted. Let a lesson be learned to carefully seek God's precise will on matters like this before proceeding with such a project that will impact all of God's people, as in this case so well substantiated...in a negative manner. – F. These types of things serve to discourage the most loyal members of the Seventh-day Adventist church, and to give the world a very unacceptable alternative to the divinely ordained real thing, which is the Great Controversy.

I agree that we should not fund this and we should get back to the powerful straight truth taught by scriptures

Let us all seek forgiveness as did Daniel that we as a people have followed the pathway of compromise that has brought us to this crisis.
